Big Buck MEASURING & Contest

Official scorers will be on site to measure your deer! All Non-Typical awards will be based on the Gross score. Typical awards will be based on Net score. Deadheads and Sheds will be judged by Gross. ALL BUCKS ENTERED INTO THE CONTEST WILL BE GIVEN A TICKET FOR EACH DAY IT IS LEFT AT THE SHOW! AT 3PM SUNDAY WE WILL DRAW FOR TONS OF PRIZES FROM OUR SPONSORS (MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN)!

Bring either the mount, skull or the skull cap. Deer must have a valid Illinois harvest tag. Deer must be present by 6:00 PM Saturday to enter into the competition. Deer must be tagged with a valid confirmation number for checking validity. Dead Heads must have salvage tags. Deer already entered into the books are only qualified for historical (must have official score sheet with it). There is a $20 entry fee which will include a 3-day pass into the expo.

Register here or at Illinois Deer & Beer Fest by 11:00 AM on August 23rd.
This is an open field 20 Target 3D Shoot. All Targets are Delta/McKenzie.
Shooting will start at 11:30. Shooters will be assigned a start time and a station at the closing of registration.
Ties will result in a Shoot Off. Award Ceremony to follow.
Listed payouts are guaranteed in the event Open/Hunter entries do not exceed 34 shooters or Pro Class does not exceed 17 shooters.
100% of shooter fees are applied to the guaranteed minimum payout until the point Open/Hunter classes each exceed 34 shooters. At that point, 100% of shooter fees shall be paid out 60% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, and 10% to 3rd.
100% of shooter fees are applied to the guaranteed minimum payout until the point the point Pro entries exceed 17 shooters, At that point, 100% of shooter fees shall be paid out 60% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, and 10% to 3rd.
All Ladies class entries are 100% Payout 60% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, and 10% to 3rd. There are no guaranteed minimum payouts.

Once Shooter fees exceed posted guaranteed payouts, 100% of proceeds are paid out 60% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, and 10% to 3rd.

Open/Hunter Ladies Classes are 100% Payout 60% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, and 10% to 3rd.
